ALGS Split 2 Playoffs Finals Format Explained

For those watching ALGS for the first time or don’t know how the Playoffs final work, don’t worry! We’ve got you covered. ALGS 2023 Split 2 Playoffs final will follow a match point format. Any team who reaches 50 or above points after a certain match ends will reach the match point and become match point eligible.

After reaching match point, the eligible team needs to place first in a match to become the Playoffs winner. Remember, after reaching the match point, the total point won’t determine who the Playoffs winner be. So, despite having more points, a team may lose due to not being able to place first after reaching the match point.

However, the remaining positions from the 2nd to the 20th will be determined by each team’s total cumulative points. So, every point counts, and the teams who were relegated from the Winner’s Bracket will surely have the upper hand.
