Thomas Chance Morris, better known to the streaming industry as Sodapoppin, is one of Twitch’s top streamers and entertainers. In a recent stream, when asked what it would take for him to switch to Kick, he put his conditions down and revealed his price.

Kick is an up and coming streaming website backed by TrainwreckTV and also the crypto gambling website, Stake. They have been frequenting in the news for picking up top Twitch streamers such as Adin Ross and potentially offering deals to the likes of viral creators like iShowSpeed.

In a recent stream while playing Elden Ring, Soda received a TTS donation asking “Considering you considered switching to Mixer at one point, if Kick offered a similar deal of three to five million, would you take it and switch platforms?“

The question came in regards to the times when Sodapoppin was offered a deal back when Mixer was still a thing and was picking up huge streamers like Ninja and Shroud. For context, Mixer had offered Sodapoppin approximately $10 Million dollars for an exclusivity deal to their site.

Sodapoppin would sign a Kick deal if offered a Million Dollars

Since Sodapoppin is one of the top streamers on Twitch, it is only natural for him to be a target to poach for other competing sites such as YouTube and Kick who are looking to increase traffic on their livestreaming side more and more.

Upon hearing the question, Soda took no time in responding with a resounding yes to the question. “You know what? I would take a million-dollar contract because, just like Mixer, I feel like the website’s going to go down and they’ll fulfill their contracts and I’ll be right back on Twitch,“

Sodapoppins’ answer to the question certainly shows that he would be eager to make the move just for the money and that his lost chance with Mixer still weighs on him somewhere inside of him where he wishes he would’ve taken that deal simply for the payout he’d receive.
