July 2024 · 1 minute read

Several road construction projects are underway or about to begin in Nampa.

On Monday, Nov. 6, the City of Nampa will begin construction to remove and replace the Ten Mile Creek culvert before the next irrigation season. Franklin Boulevard will be closed between Ustick Road and Chinden Boulevard to through traffic, but residents will still be able to access their homes. The project is expected to be completed by December 2023.

The Idaho Center and Cherry Lane roundabout is almost complete. Crews are working on getting light to the intersection before it can be safely opened to the public. Lights poles are expected to be placed by the end of next week.

The Nampa Highway District completed the 11th Avenue North construction project, and it is back open.

The development project on Karcher Road and Midland has been extended by two weeks due to a setback with some utility lines that are in the way of the storm drain pipe that is being installed.
